Expanding Our Downriver Outreach
Christ The King Church had a very big year in 2006. The church expanded, not through construction, but through the purchase of a 46-acre property on Pennsylvania Rd. in Southgate. The property, which was previously a pediatric facility that included 9 buildings, was officially purchased in October of 2006 and CTK became a dual-campus church.
Over the last 2 decades, CTK has developed several community programs and services that work exclusively from Pennsylvania Rd. Our Event Center, Childcare Center, Donation Station and Resale Shop, and Food Pantry have grown and continue to thrive and serve the downriver communities.
Our focus with Penn. Campus today is simple: reach the community, serve the community, and benefit the community, all in the name of Jesus. Every concert, event, and program is developed and run with this mindset.
